The Copyright Agency was established in 2004, it was created by a group of professional photographers and lawyers specializing in copyright protection. Active development of the Internet with technological progress on the one hand, and the necessity of artists and photographers to protect their authorial works, on the other hand, prompted us to create an Internet space that would unite and represent the interests of authors, journalists, publishers, visual artists, photographers, cartoonists and illustrators. In the course of 15 years, we have been able to develop a solid functional foundation based on understanding the legal aspects of copyright protection in more than 100 countries around the world. Evolving market trends and analysis of the prevailing situation led the Board of Directors to restructure and strengthen their partner’s copyright positions.

The central area of further activity was decided to develop U.S.-Ukrainian relations and interaction with one of the oldest Ukrainian societies – Odessa Photographic Society (OPC).

After long-term negotiations, Alexander Krivosheya, an American businessman, ActionX.co studio owner was appointed as the managing partner of the Company. Aleksandr Krivosheya is also a representative of the OPC. Thus, the company has exclusive opportunities to interact with the best photographers worldwide and to work with the photographic content of the highest quality. Every member of this community has an opportunity to freely publish their photos and portfolios on the OPC Copyright Agency website and be certain that their works are protected at the highest level.

Today the company has three new departments. One of them develops software programs for deep internet scan to identify illegal content that belongs to our customers. The second department conducts laboratory studies of photographic and video equipment and advises photographers how to make the best choice of lenses, for specific camera models, film and technical settings of the camera in specific environmental conditions. The third one is the language department which translates books and articles for an exclusive collection in our closed library.

You must be a member of OPC to publish your photos on our website. Publishing photos on our site is allowed only after written permission from the management of the community.

A few years ago, the company was invited to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for the first time, as an expert in photography copyright. Representatives of the company received the highest ratings and at the moment the WIPO panel has made an offer to the OPC Copyright Agency to join its committee as an official representative of WIPO in this area.

Upon necessity, specialists of the company can represent the interests of clients worldwide in any language. Extensive knowledge of copyright and the specifics of legislation of different countries permits us to work anywhere without limitations.
